This course is for parents of children in nursery who are due to start reception. You will have the opportunity to learn about how your child will be taught in school and the structure of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. You will also develop skills to support your child's learning at home, both before and after they start school, to help them be 'school ready'. Entry Requirements There are no requirements for the course. What will this course cover? Your tutor will help you to set your own, individual learning goals that will support you towards achieving your course aims. During the course you will cover: - Helping your child become 'school ready' - Supporting your child's phonics - Exploring ways to learn together through play What could I do next?
